2025: Serrano returns for a fourth season in Louisville after having his option picked up this offseason.
Last season: Serrano had a breakout year in purple, scoring six goals with seven assists and being named as a USL Championship Young Player of the Year finalist.
Before Louisville City: Serrano became the Seattle Sounders’ youngest academy player to ink a professional deal when signing as a 15-year-old in February 2018. He made his pro debut the next month for Sounders 2 — now known as Tacoma Defiance — and went on to accumulate 53 appearances across four seasons. A youth international, Serrano received invitations to U.S. Soccer Boys National Team Futures camps, and he played 13 times for the U.S. U-17s. Also representing the Sounders in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, he helped the club win a Generation Adidas Cup Champions Division title — a first for a Major League Soccer outfit — in 2019.
