WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22, 2020 – Louisville City FC has partnered with Louisville Water Company to provide hydration stations at the new Lynn Family Stadium. In honor of Earth Day 2020, Louisville Water has also provided refillable, pure tap water bottles to each of the Louisville City players and staff members.
“We are proud to partner with Louisville Water to keep our fans hydrated during our matches and events,” Louisville City FC President Brad Estes said. “We love working with local companies that help keep our community healthy and safe, and Louisville Water fits perfectly as a partner in our new stadium.”
Three new hydration stations are being installed at Louisville’s new state-of-the-art soccer stadium this week in preparation for the 2020 home schedule. Each station includes two water fountains and a water bottle filler plus fun messaging for fans.
“Having Louisville pure tap® hydration stations in Louisville City’s new stadium will make staying hydrated easy and convenient,” said Kelley Dearing Smith, Louisville Water Vice President of Communications and Marketing. “We love our soccer club and how it’s embraced the value of Louisville’s drinking water. This is just the beginning of a partnership with Louisville City to highlight the importance of hydration and health.”
The new Louisville pure tap® hydration stations are located on the East, West, and Southern concourses of Lynn Family Stadium. In addition to the hydration stations, Louisville Water will have a video message at each Louisville City home game, reminding fans to stay hydrated during matches.
