LOUISVILLE, Ky – Louisville City FC has just about completed preseason and is ready to begin their journey for the upcoming schedule in the United Soccer League. A successful preseason also calls for a couple successful new commitments to the Youth Program. Mockingbird Valley Sports Complex and Kentucky Fire Juniors committed to a Youth Partnership with LouCity.
Mockingbird Valley Sports Complex is an indoor training facility in Louisville, KY, that is also home to the Kentucky Fire Juniors soccer teams. MVSC focuses on attracting all developing youth players and also the older, competitive players in the Louisville area for camps, high school programs/teams and adult leagues.
“MVSC is ecstatic to work with Louisville’s only professional sports franchise, Louisville City FC,” executive director Frank Peabody said. “With Youth Development as MVSC’s focal point, we could not think of a better avenue for our MVSC Families to help bring them closer to the professional players in Louisville, and to help encourage soccer enthusiasts of all ages to support Louisville’s only professional team.”
Kentucky Fire Juniors, a youth affiliate club to Chicago Fire Soccer Club, is a club surrounded by the support and quality coaching guided by the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer team.
