With Louisville City FC and iHeartMedia having partnered this month on the Toys for Tots children’s gift drive, one of the town’s staple sports talk shows set up shop Tuesday at the club’s team store to promote it.
While often mentioning the team store, at 125 S. 6th Street, as a drop-off location for new, unwrapped toys, “Afternoon Underdogs” hosts Tony Vanetti and Dave Jennings also welcomed a trio of LouCity personalities to their show for interviews.

- At the 25:45 mark, assistant coach Daniel Byrd discussed LouCity’s 2016 season, the club’s returning players and his upbringing as a missionary child in Africa.
- At the 50:35 mark, midfielder Niall McCabe updated fans on his recovery from a season-ending operation and joked about differences between the U.S. and his native Ireland.
- And at the 1:33:50 mark, LouCity president Amanda Duffy hinted at some exciting announcements still to come — including a stadium update “in the next 90 to 120 days.”
