Coming off the best result of the season to date, head coach Danny Cruz ordered up two changes for his Louisville City FC team ahead of Saturday’s 4 p.m. kickoff with Detroit City FC at Lynn Family Stadium.
Aiden McFadden slots in at right wingback for Manny Perez, while Adrien Perez takes up the right-sided forward position previously occupied by Jansen Wilson.
Regarding the rest of the lineup, Cruz maintained continuity from last weekend’s 2-0, home-opening win over Loudoun United FC.
Goalkeeper Damian Las keeps his place between the sticks after recording the club’s first clean sheet of 2025.
He’ll be supported in defense by an unaltered back three of captain Kyle Adams, Sean Totsch and Arturo Ordóñez. Saturday marks start No. 238 for Totsch in Louisville colors since joining the club in 2017.
Amadou Dia starts in the left wingback position for the second time in three matches opposite McFadden.
The midfield duo of Taylor Davila and Zach Duncan will position itself in front of the back three. Davila, a 2024 All-League First Team selection, registered his first goal of the season last week — a 76th-minute left-footed strike to double the LouCity advantage.
Phillip Goodrum, the City leader in chances created versus Loudoun, leads the line for the third match running. He’ll be flanked by the in-form Ray Serrano on the left and Adrien Perez on the right.
Louisville’s bench includes the likes of defender Josh Jones, who made his club debut as a substitute against Loudoun.
Saturday’s game will air live locally on MyTV 58/The CW and ESPN Louisville’s AM 680/FM 105.7. For streaming coverage, download the free WDRB+ app to watch the local feed in Louisville or ESPN+ for national coverage.
