2025: Totsch returns for his ninth season in purple after signing a new contract last year.
Last Season: Scored seven goals and tallied 203 duels won, 78 clearances and 29 interceptions en route to All-League Second Team honors.
Highlights in Purple: A stalwart for the club, Totsch became LouCity’s all-time minutes leader with 18,249 played through the 2023 campaign. He led City in tackles in 2017 and 2018 during the team’s two championship-winning seasons. Totsch has become known as City’s “Iron Man,” playing every minute of both the 2021 and 2023 seasons. During his 2022 campaign, Totsch scored nine goals, a USL Championship single-season record for a defender, on the way to his third consecutive All-League First Team honors.
Before Louisville City: The Illinois native lifted his first USL Championship trophy with the Rochester Rhinos in 2015. Totsch suited up for the Chicago Fire U-23s between 2012 and 2014 while also starring at Northern Illinois. For the Huskies, Totsch totaled 64 appearances, with 47 starts and six goals. He also served as team captain as a senior. That year, he was the only player to start every match and earned all-tournament honors at the school’s Adidas Invitational.
